rospell uses QT librarary version 3.x. The library is available in all Linux and BSD distributions.

Same rospell facilities are dependent on external Linux/BSD utilities. For the current version these are:

• GNU wget (www.gnu.org/software/wget/)
• exuberant ctags (ctags.sourceforge.net/)

You can compile and install rospell as follows:

 # tar -xzvf rospell-2009.xx.tar.gz
 # cd rospell-2009.xx
 # ./configure
 # make
 # su
 # make install-strip

You can also use the facilities provided by ./configure to set CFLAGS and CXXFLAGS with values specific to your processor:

 # export CFLAGS="-O2 -march=i686 -pipe"
 # export CXXFLAGS="-O2 -march=i686 -pipe"
