February 2008: transcheck beta version released! transcheck is a simple program for checking translations. It allows searching for strings across multiple files, and could be used to synchronize translations. December 2007: rospell 2007.02 released! This is mainly a bugfix release. Some minor features are also included. Among them support for commabelow version of Romanian characters and automatic adding of diacritics characters. Romanian dictionary was also updated.

December 2007: New webpage design.

November 2007: 2007.02.rc2 released. This release adds support for "comma below" version of Romanian characters. The language selection is done in Preference / Language menu. The choices in this moment are English (default), Romanian cedilla and Romanian commabelow. If using a Romanian setting, the correct keyboard driver is installed and the speller offers suggestions based on this setting. Also, in Tools / Cleaner menu are implemented character conversion routines between the two Romanian character settings: commabelow2cedilla and cedilla2commabelow.

November 2007: A small HowTo install Romanian spelling dictionaries in Ubuntu is available at rospell.sourceforge.net/ubuntu_ro.html . It can also be used to install spelling dictionaries on other Linux distributions.
